From time to time I like to go on an overnight ghost hunting experience with friends, a bit of a childhood influence of Scooby Doo and the gang wandering round old spooky houses obviously had an impact. I love being in bulidings with my torch and Camera after dark.
Last year one venue was Rye Gatehouse part of the Lea Valley Regional Park. I took many pictures that night but this one caused more of a stir than the others. I allowed the use of my photo in order to encourage visitors to visit Rye Gatehouse thus supporting the ongoing upkeep of this historical building.
It seemed to capture the imagination of the press at both local and national level with the story being copied far and wide, some do credit me others simply copied from others. I make no claims as to what is, or is not in this picture. It was taken at approx. 2am. There were no lights on in the building except our torches and some ambient street light. It has simply been lightened post production revealing the images.
